About Ally
For years, I truly believed I was eating healthy—until I began working closely with a holistic nutritionist and naturopathic doctors. What I learned changed everything. By applying these principles to my own life, I experienced a powerful transformation: more energy at 55 than I’d had in years, natural weight loss (yes, it is possible as we age), reduced inflammation, and an overall sense of vitality I hadn’t felt before.
I’ve always leaned toward a natural, holistic approach to life. Growing up, my brother—a chiropractor—instilled in me a belief I hold even more strongly today: the body is designed to heal itself when given the right support. That belief became the foundation of my personal health journey and, eventually, my life’s work.
Alongside my passion for health and wellness is an undeniable love for cooking. Honestly, I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t in the kitchen. Cooking is my creative outlet, my joy, and my way of nurturing others. There’s nothing I love more than hearing the “ooohs,” the smiles, and the “Oh my goodness, that was delicious!” moments that happen around the table.
It was the perfect blend of these passions—clean, nourishing food and the joy of cooking—that inspired Thrive As You Age.
One of my clients came to me feeling frustrated by ongoing health challenges and unsure where to begin. After learning what she enjoyed eating, I offered simple, realistic swaps and provided nourishing recipes she could actually stick with. She embraced the process fully. Within one month, she lost 13 pounds, significantly reduced inflammation, and—most importantly—her digestion began working naturally again.
The food industry is incredibly clever with its packaging, often misleading us into believing we should eat low-fat, low-carb, and sugar-free to be healthy. The truth? Real health doesn’t come from restriction—it comes from real, clean, nourishing food.
Imagine enjoying your favorite meals without counting calories, feeling guilt-free after eating, knowing exactly what to buy at the grocery store, and feeling confident that your food is truly supporting your body.
You can thrive as you age—and I’m here to show you how.
